Brand Overview

AMS Performance is an American automotive engineering and performance-parts manufacturer specializing in high-powered turbocharged vehicles. Founded in 2001, AMS combines computer-aided design, mechanical engineering, motorsports development and extensive real-world testing to create individual components and complete performance packages. The company also provides in-house ECU calibration, product installation, engine building and transmission services. Its product range includes turbo kits, intercoolers, intake systems, exhaust components, fuel-system upgrades, cooling products, engine components and drivetrain solutions for Nissan, Mitsubishi, Audi, Lamborghini, Toyota, Infiniti and other performance platforms.

AMS began developing Nissan R35 GT-R products in 2009 and quickly became one of the most recognized names in GT-R performance through its ALPHA and OMEGA programs. In 2010, an AMS ALPHA 9 became the first R35 GT-R to record a nine-second quarter-mile pass, beginning a long history of GT-R racing records and high-horsepower development. Today, AMS Performance offers R35 GT-R turbo kits, intercoolers, intake manifolds, fuel-system components, exhaust upgrades, engine parts and complete performance packages for street, drag-racing and competition builds. Whether upgrading a mostly stock VR38DETT or assembling a high-output R35 GT-R, AMS products are developed to deliver engineered fitment, proven performance and compatibility across complete vehicle systems.

Warranty Information

AMS-manufactured components are covered by a limited warranty for 12 months or 12,000 miles from the invoice date, whichever occurs first, for the original purchaser. Coverage is limited to defects in AMS materials or workmanship and generally provides repair or replacement of the affected AMS component. Certain specialized products may include different product-specific warranty terms.

The warranty does not generally cover improper installation, misuse, neglect, unauthorized modification, racing or competitive use, normal wear, maintenance items, contaminated fuel, collisions, damage caused by other manufacturers’ components, vehicle downtime, towing, rental vehicles or incidental expenses. Labor is not automatically covered unless the product was originally installed or serviced at AMS Performance’s facility. Components made by another manufacturer are subject to that manufacturer’s warranty rather than AMS coverage.

To begin a claim, contact Elite GT-R Parts with:

  • Your order number and AMS part number
  • A description of the problem
  • Clear photographs or video of the affected component
  • Relevant installation, maintenance or tuning information

Do not return the product before receiving authorization. AMS requires warranty returns to be approved in advance and accompanied by an issued Return Merchandise Authorization. Final coverage and resolution are determined by AMS Performance under its current warranty terms.
