Brand Overview

ARP, short for Automotive Racing Products, is an American manufacturer specializing in high-strength bolts, studs and fastener kits for performance engines, drivetrains and racing applications. The company was founded in 1968 by Gary Holzapfel after he recognized that ordinary fastener failures were contributing to damaged race engines. From its beginnings in a small garage, ARP has grown into a major Southern California manufacturer with extensive forging, machining, heat-treating, finishing, testing and packaging capabilities. Its product range includes head studs, main studs, connecting-rod bolts, flywheel bolts, harmonic-balancer bolts, wheel studs and other critical engine and driveline hardware used in street-performance builds and professional motorsports.

For Nissan Skyline GT-R and Nissan GT-R builds, ARP manufactures application-specific fasteners for both the RB26DETT and VR38DETT engines. Available GT-R products include RB26 head studs, main studs, rod bolts and flywheel bolts, along with VR38 head studs, main studs and connecting-rod bolt kits. Depending on the application, ARP fasteners may use premium materials such as 8740 chrome moly, ARP2000 or Custom Age 625 Plus to provide greater clamping strength and fatigue resistance than standard hardware. Whether assembling a rebuilt RB26, upgrading an R32–R34 Skyline GT-R or building a high-horsepower R35 GT-R, ARP fasteners provide engine builders with precision hardware designed for demanding performance applications.

Warranty Information

ARP products are covered by the manufacturer’s applicable product warranty. ARP’s public website does not currently provide a universal warranty duration for every fastener or kit, so coverage is reviewed according to the specific product, reported problem and installation circumstances.

Warranty consideration requires the correct ARP kit to be used for the listed application and installed according to the instructions supplied with that kit. Failure to follow the required installation procedure, torque specifications, lubricant requirements or preparation steps may void warranty coverage. Damage caused by incorrect fitment, improper installation, misuse, corrosion, modification, excessive heat or unrelated component failure may not qualify.

To begin a claim, contact Elite GT-R Parts with:

  • Your order number and ARP part number
  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photographs of the fastener and affected components
  • Relevant installation and engine-build information

Do not return the product before receiving authorization. ARP may require the fastener, packaging and related components to be inspected before determining coverage. Final warranty eligibility and the available resolution are determined by ARP under its current warranty terms.
