Description

The Boost Logic BL 02010910 Formula Series Titanium Cat-Back Exhaust is a lightweight, high-flow system engineered for the 2009–2025 Nissan GT-R R35. Constructed from titanium, the system features a 4-inch exhaust design with multiple available midpipe configurations, tip finishes, and standard or valved exhaust options. Depending on the selected configuration, customers can choose between Boost Logic’s distinctive Quadzilla midpipe, a race-style Y-pipe, or a resonated midpipe for a smoother and more refined exhaust tone. Adjustable slash-cut titanium tips are offered in several finishes to complement the vehicle’s appearance. Boost Logic lists the complete exhaust and midpipe assembly at approximately 25.8 pounds in its standard configuration, offering a substantial weight reduction compared with the factory exhaust and Y-pipe. The system is designed to reduce restriction, improve exhaust flow, and deliver a more aggressive VR38DETT sound while allowing the final setup to be tailored to the customer’s preferred tone, appearance, and driving experience.

Ordering Options:

Exhaust Configuration

Standard Exhaust
Boost Logic’s standard, non-valved titanium exhaust configuration. This version provides the system’s full exhaust tone and unrestricted race-style flow at all times.

Boost-Activated Valved Exhaust
Adds Boost Logic’s integrated exhaust valves. The valves remain closed below approximately 7 psi of boost for a quieter tone while idling and cruising, then open above 7 psi for maximum exhaust flow and a more aggressive sound. Boost Logic states that the open-valve configuration flows the same as its standard exhaust system.

Tip Finishes

Choose your preferred titanium exhaust-tip color and finish:

  • Blue, Polished, Matte, Ceramic-Coated Black, F16 Blued, F16 Matte

See Image 3 for a visual comparison of the available tip colors and finishes.

Midpipe Configuration

Quadzilla Midpipe

  • The standard midpipe included with the exhaust system. This design uses Boost Logic’s multi-pipe titanium layout and merge collectors before transitioning into the main 4-inch exhaust section. Choose this option for the system’s signature Quadzilla construction and appearance.

Race Midpipe

  • Uses a more conventional Y-pipe layout, with the exhaust flow combining into one large center pipe before splitting back into two outlets for the rear exhaust section. This option provides a simpler, more direct race-style exhaust path than the four-tube Quadzilla design.

Resonated Midpipe

  • Adds a resonator to help smooth the exhaust note and reduce harshness, rasp and unwanted resonance. It retains a performance-oriented sound but generally provides a more refined tone than the race midpipe.

Brand Overview

Boost Logic is an American performance engineering company founded in 2003 and headquartered in Austin, Texas. Built around the philosophy of delivering “horsepower without compromise,” the company develops high-performance parts and vehicle packages intended to increase power without unnecessarily sacrificing drivability. Boost Logic began with the Toyota Supra and 2JZ platform, establishing its reputation through turbo systems, racing development and record-setting street cars. The brand has since expanded into Nissan, Porsche, Lamborghini, Audi, BMW, Ferrari, McLaren and other performance platforms while continuing to specialize in turbocharged, high-horsepower applications.

Boost Logic entered the Nissan R35 GT-R market shortly after the platform’s release and has developed some of its most recognizable products around the VR38DETT engine and GR6 dual-clutch transmission. Its R35 GT-R catalog includes turbo kits, titanium exhaust systems, intakes, intercoolers, cooling upgrades, fuel-system components, engine internals, transmission packages, suspension parts and Boost Logic wheels. The company uses experience gained from building GT-Rs capable of more than 180 mph in the quarter mile and over 200 mph in the half mile to develop components for street, drag-racing and high-horsepower builds. From bolt-on R35 upgrades to complete engine, turbo and drivetrain packages, Boost Logic offers performance parts designed around coordinated vehicle systems rather than isolated power gains.
