Description

These Boost Logic billet main engine girdles are made from 7000 series aluminum to add significant rigidity to the VR38 motor. 7000 series aluminum is strong, with a strength comparable to many steels, and has good fatigue strength and average machinability. It has lower resistance to corrosion than many other Al alloys, but has significantly better corrosion resistance than the 2000 alloys.

These have seen uneven bearing wear due to the block flexing with the stock girdle and this problem is resolved with our billet girdle and upgraded ARP Oversized Main Bolts. Reducing the amount of flex in the block prevents premature bearing wear and improves the longevity of the bottom end as a whole.

The Boost Logic billet girdle is designed to only require a line hone, rather than a full line bore like our competitors billet girdles.  These are a great addition to any build looking for 1500+ whp and a standard for many engine builders.

You have a few options when selecting which you want. You can go ahead and get your billet main girdle with oversized ARP Main Studs at an additional price. Just select which option you would like before checkout from the drop down menu.

These are a very nice and solid unit weighing in at just a hair under 25lbs.  When holding this in your hands compared to the OE you know your holding a MASSIVE Upgrade to the OE Main Girdle!

Brand Overview

Boost Logic is an American performance engineering company founded in 2003 and headquartered in Austin, Texas. Built around the philosophy of delivering “horsepower without compromise,” the company develops high-performance parts and vehicle packages intended to increase power without unnecessarily sacrificing drivability. Boost Logic began with the Toyota Supra and 2JZ platform, establishing its reputation through turbo systems, racing development and record-setting street cars. The brand has since expanded into Nissan, Porsche, Lamborghini, Audi, BMW, Ferrari, McLaren and other performance platforms while continuing to specialize in turbocharged, high-horsepower applications.

Boost Logic entered the Nissan R35 GT-R market shortly after the platform’s release and has developed some of its most recognizable products around the VR38DETT engine and GR6 dual-clutch transmission. Its R35 GT-R catalog includes turbo kits, titanium exhaust systems, intakes, intercoolers, cooling upgrades, fuel-system components, engine internals, transmission packages, suspension parts and Boost Logic wheels. The company uses experience gained from building GT-Rs capable of more than 180 mph in the quarter mile and over 200 mph in the half mile to develop components for street, drag-racing and high-horsepower builds. From bolt-on R35 upgrades to complete engine, turbo and drivetrain packages, Boost Logic offers performance parts designed around coordinated vehicle systems rather than isolated power gains.

Warranty Information

Boost Logic’s public website does not state one fixed manufacturer warranty period covering every Boost Logic product. Product concerns are reviewed according to the specific item, reported issue and any additional product or purchase terms that may apply. Boost Logic’s published fulfillment policy requires customers to report products received defective or damaged within 48 hours of delivery so an investigation can determine whether replacement or refund is appropriate.

To report a problem, contact Elite GT-R Parts with:

  • Your order number and Boost Logic part number
  • A description of the defect or damage
  • Clear photographs of the product and packaging
  • Installation information when relevant

Do not install, modify, disassemble or return a questionable product before receiving instructions. Boost Logic does not accept returns or refunds for buyer’s remorse and does not offer exchanges under its published fulfillment policy. Custom and made-to-order components may also be subject to additional product-specific terms. Final eligibility and resolution are determined by Boost Logic following review of the claim.
