How to Measure Brembo Wheel Clearance
Upgrade your Nissan GT-R R35 with the Brembo GT|R Systems front big brake kit, engineered around 6-piston billet monobloc radial-mount calipers and large 405x34mm two-piece discs. This complete front axle system delivers precise pedal response, increased heat capacity, and dependable braking consistency for high-performance street driving, track use, and mild race applications.
This Elite GT-R main hub listing lets customers select between Cross Drilled, TY1, and TY3 disc configurations. Every version features nickel-plated billet calipers, corrosion-resistant two-piece discs and application-specific mounting hardware. Brembo GT|R Systems are an excellent fit for Elite GT-R builds that need more track capability than a traditional street-focused upgrade while retaining practical drivability and complete application-specific engineering.
Rotor Style Options:
Cross-Drilled: Provides the traditional Brembo drilled-rotor appearance and is a strong choice for street-driven R35 GT-R builds where style and dependable performance are the main priorities.
Type-1 / TY1 Slotted: Uses a straightforward slot pattern that helps condition the brake-pad surface and maintain consistent response. This is a balanced option for performance street driving and occasional track use.
Type-3 / TY3 Slotted: Uses Brembo’s more aggressive curved slot pattern for stronger initial response and pad conditioning during repeated hard braking. This is the most aggressive of the three rotor patterns and is well suited to repeated hard braking and track-focused use.
All three options use the same 405x34mm two-piece rotor construction and nickel-plated six-piston billet calipers. Only the rotor-face design changes.
