Description

Build a professionally balanced high-performance VR38DETT rotating assembly with the Brian Crower BC5249U billet crankshaft. This unbalanced version features a 94.4mm stroke, 56mm rod journals, 65mm main journals, precision-machined oil passages, and profiled counterweights for extreme-horsepower, high-boost, and high-RPM Nissan GT-R R35 engine builds.

For Elite GT-R customers building a custom stroker combination, the BC5249U allows the engine builder to balance the crankshaft around the selected pistons, connecting rods, pins, bearings, and related rotating components. Each crankshaft is CNC machined, stress relieved, shot peened, Magnaflux inspected, nitrided, and micropolished. Brian Crower does not publish a fixed horsepower rating because final capability depends on the complete engine combination, balancing process, machining, tuning, and professional assembly.

Brand Overview

Brian Crower, commonly known as BC, is an American performance-parts manufacturer specializing in internal engine components for sport-compact, import and racing applications. The company was founded by Brian Crower, who previously led the Sport Compact division at Crower Cams & Equipment and also worked as an IndyCar mechanic. BC was created to provide complete, matched engine-building solutions that combine performance, reliability and accessible pricing. Its product range includes camshafts, valve springs, retainers, valves, connecting rods, crankshafts and complete stroker kits. Components are developed using CNC machining and grinding, precision inspection, metallurgy testing and dyno testing to help maintain accurate tolerances in high-RPM and high-horsepower engines.

For Nissan Skyline GT-R and Nissan GT-R engine builds, Brian Crower offers performance components for the RB26DETT and RB30-based combinations used in R32, R33 and R34 projects, along with VR38DETT components for the R35 GT-R. Available products include BC camshafts, valvetrain upgrades, billet crankshafts, forged connecting rods and stroker kits designed for increased displacement, boost and engine speed. BC’s VR38 stroker combinations can include an EN30B billet crankshaft, forged rods and custom pistons, while its RB catalog supports everything from upgraded valvetrain setups to complete bottom-end builds. Exact fitment and supporting modifications vary by product, making proper part selection and professional engine assembly especially important.
