Brand Overview

COBB, commonly known as COBB Tuning, is an American automotive engineering company founded by Trey Cobb in Rockwall, Texas, in 1999. COBB develops integrated performance solutions designed around the vehicle as a complete system rather than treating tuning software and mechanical upgrades as unrelated products. The company is best known for the COBB Accessport, a handheld ECU tuning, monitoring and data-logging device, but its catalog also includes intake systems, exhaust components, intercoolers, fuel-system upgrades, turbo components, drivetrain parts, suspension products and complete staged performance packages. COBB engineers, manufactures, tests and supports many of its products in-house, with applications covering Nissan, Subaru, Ford, Porsche, BMW, Volkswagen, Audi, Mitsubishi and other performance platforms.

For the Nissan R35 GT-R, COBB offers Accessport ECU and transmission-control solutions, Off-The-Shelf maps, custom-tuning support and coordinated Stage Power Packages. Available GT-R products include intakes, intercooler piping, exhaust components, fuel-pressure and flex-fuel hardware, CAN Gateway systems and related engine-management accessories. The Accessport can display live engine data, read and clear diagnostic codes, record datalogs, store multiple calibrations and support tuning by an authorized COBB Protuner. Whether upgrading a lightly modified street-driven R35 or building a more advanced flex-fuel and high-horsepower setup, COBB provides a structured tuning platform designed to help the vehicle’s software and supporting hardware work together.

Warranty Information

COBB-manufactured components and products sold under the COBB brand include a 12-month limited manufacturer’s warranty from the original purchase date. Coverage applies only to the original retail purchaser and requires the product to have been purchased directly from COBB or through an authorized COBB dealer.

The warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship. It does not cover:

  • Improper installation or incorrect application
  • Abuse, neglect or inadequate maintenance
  • Unauthorized alteration or modification
  • Racing, competition or off-road use
  • Normal wear or maintenance items
  • Labor, return shipping or consequential expenses

To begin a claim, contact Elite GT-R Parts with your order number, COBB part number, a description of the issue and clear photographs or video. Additional installation, tuning or datalog information may be requested. Do not return the product before receiving authorization. COBB requires an RMA, proof of purchase and inspection of the original product before a replacement can be issued. Approved claims may be repaired, replaced or credited at COBB’s discretion.
