VR38 options include left- and right-side MLX cylinder-head gaskets with multiple bore and thickness choices for standard and enlarged-bore engines. Cometic’s multi-layer head gaskets use embossed stainless-steel layers and specialized coatings to distribute sealing load around the combustion chambers. Because bore size, compressed thickness and surface preparation can affect fitment and compression, each gasket should be selected around the engine’s exact machining and build specifications.
