Description

Koyo HH023194 is an all-aluminum performance radiator for Nissan R34 GT-R models produced from September 2000 through 2002 with the RB26DETT engine and manual transmission. Its 48mm HH Series Hyper Core uses a high-density fin layout to maximize heat transfer during demanding street and track use.

Vehicle-specific mounting provisions allow direct-fit installation while retaining the factory fan shroud and coolant hoses. The radiator has a 1/8-inch NPT accessory port with a threaded plug and an M16 x 1.5 lower sensor port. The factory radiator cap does not fit; Koyo SKC-13 is required and sold separately.

Brand Overview

Koyorad, frequently listed simply as Koyo, is a Japanese automotive cooling-system manufacturer specializing in radiators, oil coolers and air-conditioning condensers. The company began in Nagoya, Japan, in 1956 as Ejiri Radiator, originally operating as a radiator-repair business. It opened a dedicated radiator and oil-cooler factory in 1968 and became Koyo Radiator Manufacturing in 1970. Today, Koyorad develops original-equipment-style replacement radiators and lightweight all-aluminum performance radiators using in-house engineering, extensive fitment testing and production through privately owned ISO 9001-certified facilities.

For Nissan Skyline GT-R and Nissan GT-R applications, Koyorad offers vehicle-specific aluminum radiators for the R32, R33 and R34 Skyline GT-R, along with the VR38DETT-powered R35 GT-R. Its performance radiators are designed as direct-fit cooling upgrades that retain the factory mounting locations and, for many applications, work with the original fan and fan shroud. These radiators provide GT-R owners with an upgraded cooling solution for aging factory systems, modified turbocharged engines, spirited street use and demanding performance builds. Exact compatibility can vary by model year, engine, transmission and production date, particularly on R34 applications, so the individual Koyorad part number should always be verified before ordering.

Warranty Information

Koyorad OE aftermarket replacement radiators include an 18-month limited warranty, measured from the date the radiator was sold to a Koyorad-authorized U.S. supplier. Coverage applies to defects in materials or workmanship. Koyorad may repair or replace an approved product after inspection.

Important: Koyorad’s official terms state that its all-aluminum racing and performance radiators are not covered by the 18-month OE replacement-radiator warranty. Performance-radiator concerns must be submitted through the original authorized dealer and are reviewed under the applicable Koyorad and distributor terms. Koyorad does not process warranty claims directly with end users.

Coverage does not apply to damage caused by:

  • Improper installation, repair or modification
  • Accidents, collisions or road debris
  • Incorrect coolant, corrosion or cooling-system neglect
  • Failure to remove trapped air from the cooling system
  • Misuse, physical damage or improper handling
  • Labor, removal or reinstallation expenses

To begin a claim, contact Elite GT-R Parts with your order number, Koyorad part number, original invoice, clear photographs, a detailed description of the issue and a list of vehicle modifications. Do not repair, modify or return the radiator before receiving instructions. Final warranty eligibility and resolution are determined by Koyorad following review or inspection.
