Giving your R35 GTR’s MoTeC ECU the ability to automatically upshift and downshift can give your car the leading edge in taking advantage of every RPM in your vehicle’s power band while in manual mode. The TRP Autoshift Harness enables you to quickly add automatic shifting, upwards and downwards. The harness has two sides, one unterminated and the other is terminated to pins compatible with your MoTeC’s connector.
For the first side of the harness, locate the white OEM connector in your GTR that is designated for the paddle shifters. On a left hand drive car, you can find this off to the left side of the brake pedal. On a right hand drive car, you can find this behind the glove box. Unplug the connector and under the cover, take note of the wires leading to pin 22 (white) and pin 25 (blue). Splice the TRP harness’s red wire into 22 and the TRP harness’s black wire into 25. On the other end of the TRP harness, you will insert the MoTeC compatible pins into the MoTeC connector; the black wire goes into A8 and the red wire goes into A9.

Not all wiring is created equally. We use TXL wire featuring XLPE insulation that is heat, flame, gasoline, grease, and acid resistant and is used in extreme temperature applications of -40°F to 257°F!
