Garrett G-Series turbochargers have become an extremely popular option for R35 GT-R turbo kits and many tuners prefer to monitor the turbo’s shaft speed. Instead of having to waste time routing the extremely long harness included with the G-Series speed sensor kit, leaving one wire unterminated, and having a random T’d off connector that isn’t even used, we created a clean and easy solution.
Simply plug in our harness to the Garrett Speed Sensor and pin in/connect the wires on the opposite end. The green wire (signal) is already terminated to a pin compatible with your MoTeC’s connector. The orange wire (power) should be connected to any switched 5V source and the black wire should be grounded.
This kit includes three lengths of wiring creating a harness intended for ease of removing your engine in the future for periodic maintenance, alongside plenty of length to reach your R35’s MoTeC connectors.
Not all wiring is created equally. We use TXL wire featuring XLPE insulation that is heat, flame, gasoline, grease, and acid resistant and is used in extreme temperature applications of -40°F to 257°F!
