Description

The Verkline Front Lightweight Tubular Subframe for the Nissan GT-R R35 is a motorsport-grade replacement designed to significantly reduce front-end weight while improving serviceability and underbody access. Developed using a full 3D scan of the OEM subframe, this unit is completely CAD-designed and finite element method (FEM) tested to ensure structural integrity under extreme racing conditions.

Constructed from T45 aerospace-grade seamless tubing and S355 steel sheet, this tubular subframe achieves an impressive 40% weight reduction compared to the factory unit—dropping mass from 48.20 lbs (21.85 kg) to just 28.88 lbs (13.1 kg). All components are hand TIG-welded using a special Lincoln Electric TIG wire that matches the tensile and yield properties of the tubing for maximum strength and reliability.

Designed with motorsport functionality in mind, the subframe features dual front anti-roll bar mounting positions, with an additional forward mounting point to provide clearance for dry sump oil system plumbing. It also allows easier removal of extended oil pans, improved access for servicing, and compatibility with Magnus dry sump kits, OEM or aftermarket wishbones, and undertrays.

This Verkline subframe is delivered powder coated in black as standard, with optional custom RAL colors available by special order.

Looks like I get to be the first review for these guys. Let me start out by saying that I have had 3 other cars of a similar caliber to my GTR serviced/worked on and upgrades installed at other shops and none took the pride and level of detail that these guys did. I wish I could see all the welds on the downpipes and exhaust because it looked like artwork. Their fabricator made sure to send me daily updates and pictures which was also a big deal to me.
