WELD Racing is an American performance-wheel manufacturer founded by sprint-car driver Greg Weld in a Kansas City garage in 1967. Unable to find wheels that delivered the strength, durability and performance he needed, Weld began producing his own designs for racing. For Nissan R35 GT-R owners, WELD offers performance-oriented wheel configurations for street, drag-racing and high-horsepower applications. Available choices include forged monoblock wheels, lightweight street-and-strip designs and beadlock-equipped rear-wheel options designed to help secure the tire during hard launches. WELD has displayed R35 GT-R builds using RM Series RM505 forged wheels and Solana beadlock setups in staggered 17- and 18-inch configurations. Because brake clearance, offset, tire size, suspension setup and intended use can all affect fitment, each WELD GT-R wheel package should be selected around the exact vehicle and build specifications.

WELD wheel warranty coverage varies according to the product category and begins on the original retail purchase date. Coverage applies to the original end-user purchaser and protects against defects in materials or workmanship, subject to inspection and approval by WELD.

Published warranty periods include:

• Drag-racing, oval-racing and other non-street wheels: 30 days
• RT and RT-S street wheels: 3 years
• Performance RF wheels: 1 year against manufacturing defects, plus a lifetime structural warranty for the original retail purchaser

The warranty does not cover improper use, incorrect application, abuse, unauthorized modification, nonapproved hardware or damage caused by components not supplied by WELD. Cosmetic or appearance concerns discovered after tires have been mounted are also excluded. Wheels must be installed and used according to WELD’s current specifications with the correct fasteners, accessories and replacement parts.

Inspect every wheel before mounting a tire. Do not repair, modify or return the wheel before receiving instructions. WELD requires prior return authorization and may perform testing or remove samples during its inspection. Approved claims are limited to repair or replacement at WELD’s discretion. Final warranty eligibility and resolution are determined by WELD Racing.
